What is executive functioning - and what does it look like to have executive functioning skill deficits? We, as teachers AND Montessorians need to understand the importance of change! Our preconceptions often prevent us from seeing the real child hidden from normal view! Some children will be more challenging than others, but every child WILL be different. If we are going to tackle this challenge, we need to prepare with some real introspection and reflection on what we must do.
